Bluetooth mouse issue

So I recently purchased a new HP DV5Z laptop and everything was working fine. Then I installed a Microsoft bluetooth mouse 5000 and it installed fine and is working. However whenever I first power on the laptop it will come up with an error message "HID data has stopped working" then it says that windows is searching for a solution and it does not find one and another box comes up to the close the program. I have found that the error also pops up whenever I insert a disc into the dvd-rw drive. So the mouse works fine but this annoying error keeps popping up and I am wandering how to get rid of it?

I am running Windows Vista Home Premium (64bit).
 
Maybe go to Microsoft website and search for a vista 64bit driver?

Update:

I have done a clean Vista install and applied the SP1 update and I am still getting the "HID data has stopped working" error message. Any ideas?
 
I have the microsoft bluetooth mouse on my tablet. Other then not workign for a few seconds after waking up the system it runs fine. Maybe its your bluetooth manager? Did it come with the computer?

My mouse works fine but it is very annoying when the error pops up everytime I start the computer or put a cd in the cd drive
