Bizarre Issue with Connectivity

I am currently running a USB 2.0-based Linksys WirelessG adaptor, which in theory will communicate with my Linksys WirelessG router to provide me with internet access.

At random intervals, I will lose internet connectivity (and AIM for that matter) while both Windows Networking and the Linksys Utility mantain that I have a perfect connection to the router and the internet.

I changed the threshold settings for my router figuring it was some sort of interference issue, and the problem went away..

Except now it's back. Even with the new router settings. Nothing has changed in my household, no new phones, nothing.

Could it be an issue with software? Or is it something else?

Thanks for any and all help.
