What do other miners think the minimum Mhash/s needs to be before I can effectively mine solo?
 
Mine solo if you want to get 1 payout of 50BTC months from now, depending on your hardware

Mine in a pool to get fast steady payouts of small increments.

this does not factor in difficulty changes.. Solo gives you the security of no-one Mybitcoin.com'ing you.. But takes forever to earn your shares..
