BF2/5900 Ultra

Anyone know if a 5900 Ultra will be sufficient for Battlefield 2 with a P4 3.0 Ghz and 1 GB Ram? I'd like to run it at med/high settings.

You should be able to run it fine at 1024x768. My 9800Pro runs it at that res with the settings maxed out just fine, I'm still messing around with AA and AF.
 
I don't know a 5900u and 9800p are a lot different when it comes to dx9 intense games. I would say medium to high, 1024/768 no aa or af.
 
Thanks guys. I'm just trying to make sure it won't be butt ugly at a playable fps.
 
I have the XT and I run it at 10x76 on medium, you should be able to mix high and medium with the ultra. Don't expect awesome fps though.
 
I got mine running at 1024x768, everything on high, and with 6xAA. No lag at all.

But as mentioned before, the DX9 performance of the 59xx series cards were VERY different from the 9800's.

Btw, my 9800Pro is running at 432/395.
