I am wondering if it is 2fa issue. The user name is weird, but may be the original, and the fact it got renamed to Resolved is also weird.

its open again, think op locked it for who knows why and changed the op again.
i say this is the new thread then.

One thing I'm noticing from that leak is the very minimal in game voice between characters. Maybe the player had it turned off? Not sure - but it's just straight raw battle sounds and not a bombardment of pings and checkpoint voice updates.

"We lost A.....We gained A...Sniper spotted" etc..

Edit:

Another thing - maybe it's just me - but I'd like to see if you're downed from a headshot, you should NOT be able to get revived.

"DICE has announced a brand new 72-hour Battlefield 6 playtest for this weekend, starting on Friday, May 23rd. The playtest is being advertised as a “Pre-Alpha Server Performance Test” as a way to stress test the game’s servers with a lot of people."

Looks ok but I guess I need to play it I stay away from 2036 because of all the cheaters. Plus I hardly play it. More interested in destruction of buildings.

seems like the original thread starter locked all the threads he started before getting banned...

The OP was mad at the "bad vibes" being expressed in an NVIDIA thread several months back and decided to lock and delete all the threads they created. Kyle should unlock those threads because many of them had long and good discussions.

When I went to Full Sail I put my name on EA's list and I occasionally get invited to in-person playtests in Orlando. Pretty sure one I got last year was for this game. I have yet to go to one. The descriptions never really grab me to make the 3.5-hour trip for an hour or two of playtesting.

Same here. I always get sign up options for in person, but none for battlelabs.

I don't actually see that as a bad thing. Being able to go with 3 engineers (if you're vehicle based) but want to mix up your small arms types for when your vehicles are downed it can be nice. If you 3 were going to be engineers, you were going to be engineers regardless. You can also see some people playing other classes more because they're not locked out of certain weapon types.

Though BF4 had a decent mix. Most classes had 3 types of weapons to choose from, if I recall every class could use carbines, DMRs, and shotguns. Then one type was unique to each class, full size rifles for Assault, large caliber precision rifles to Recon, LMGs to Support, SMGs to Engineer. Might be a good compromise. Though truthfully the class type weapon restrictions did not make a whole lot of sense. Typically it merged two different roles into one. Assistant Gunner (carrying extra ammo) mixed with Automatic Riflemen/machine gunners and whatnot. I know the older BF games had more classes, I think BF2 had 8 classes. BF3 cut it down to 4 so there was a lot of overlap.

Yea there's no reason to cry foul yet.

I am very much interested in this game. I played the first round of testing and was getting massive BF2/3/4 vibes. And the graphics are amazing.

They have continually had some sweet graphics and it's just too bad they keep fumbling the ball otherwise. I loved how BF1/5 looked but didn't buy either of them. Hopefully they get this one right, even though I don't much care for modern stuff.

Well, I can't connect to EA servers in "BF Labs". Other EA games work though, like BF2042 and whatnot.

But seems to work for others (I think). Contacted them.

I ended up getting in (double auth needs to be disabled for the EA account to log into the BF client... don't ask) and as a huge fan of BF3+4, BC2 but also BFV (the latter for the gunplay and movement on foot), I had a blast and saw many (if not all) boxes ticked.

Polishing and balancing is of course needed but this is a very early version and they seem to have the right ideas.

I read that everyone was using the same gun in MP and it was OP. There were also perks or you could change the ammo to make it more lethal. Doing 1-2 head shots with an smg or rifle, something to that degree. Sounded not fun.

It'll be plagued by cheaters and no rented server program like the last 2 games. I'm thinking BF5 will be the last BF I purchase...

Battlefield 6 leaked video shows off the destruction aspects

I like that they're going back to the Bad Company era of destruction effects...

I like the destruction but it looks over done which is a big problem I have with it in games. With that much damage it seems like no one will ever go indoors and it will all be flattened too quickly. That rocket does as much damage as something like a 250LB bomb. I do understand it isn't going to be 100% realistic nor does it have to be, but I hope it is tuned down a bit so indoors are viable and a hand grenade doesn't blow off a wall.

Still annoyed I haven't gotten in. They seem intent on inviting me to Skate and Apex.

This is my problem also. It shouldn't cause that much destruction especially since knowing how they balance it won't do that much damage to anything else.

I can't wait for the day though when you can blow up something like the mine and all the sudden fund you have access to the sewer tunnels and that if there are manhole covers.

False. Everyone will always use the same weapon initially because typically people just naturally test assault class out first. The LMGs were awesome. I was impressed.
No headshot multiplayer for different ammo types?
