Hi, I’m in the process of looking for a backup solution for a small network I run (10 pcs + 1 windows 2000 server).
The server controls the domain and also stores all of the data. The data mostly consists of word documents and probably no more than 5-10 GB of data.
I am looking for software that would backup this data, but also have an archive. That is, backup each version (say for up to 2 weeks) of each file. So let’s say they edit a file, then come back and realize they messed up. They could go back and get the file as it was say 2 weeks ago at 9am. I've seen this through livevault, but this is an off-site (internet based) program, and costs a lot per month. I'd much rather spend the money upfront and own the software.
Can anyone give me recommendations?
Thanks
