How do I create those dark areas on those curves? I missed my CAD class last week and I have no idea how to :(. I'm using Autodesk AutoCAD 2004.

fillet or chamfer command i cant remember which.. been along time since i was in highschool =)
 
Haha, I remember doing that drawing in cad class when I was a freshman or sophmore in high school.

They are fillets...

top has a radius of 1.5


the one where the two edges meet is 0.25.

Yup, that does look like it's a solid, rather than stick drawn... in that case, draw the basic shape, make it a linestring (damn my Microstation work background...) and then extrude it... subtract the holes,etc....

I miss solid modelling in AutoCAD... at least Microstation is more like AutoCAD with the lastest version....
