Hello,
I just put my new build together and cannot for the life of me get my Q6600 on my P5K-E to change its multiplier. I have changed the settings in the BIOS to manual and set the multiplier to 9 and here is what happens. In the BIOS and at POST it will display at 3GHZ (9x333) but once I get to 64bit Vista and run CPU-Z it will report I'm running at 6 x 333 or 2Ghz. Has anyone seen this before? It's like the OS is playing with the multiplier as it would with a mobile processor...
