Apex memory for macbook pro

I bought a refurbrished macbook pro 1.8ghz. Refurbed meant no BTO options and I'd like more ram (512 doesn't cut it). Crucials 2 gig kits are 300, apples are six.

On ebay there is a company called Apex memory that has a 2 gig kit for 169. Anyone have any experience with this company? That's a good deal, but I don't want to get crappy parts for my baby- err- macbook.
 
i bought 2 1gb sticks of muskin at my local frys for $220. works like a charm.
 
Just go on Newegg and buy Transcend or any of those DDR2 667 1gb SODIMMS for 80 bucks each
 
Try newegg or zipzoomfly for DDR2 667 200pin sodimms.
Personally, id spend the extra bank for crucial memory just because sometimes macs are a little sensitive to ram and crucial is approved by apple. But hey go for it, if i got anything else, i think id get the mushkin like BioPort got.
 
most of us are using OCZ, Crucial, Transcend or Corsair in our Macbooks/Pros/Mini/iMacs
 
Since your RAM shopping, I want to mention that I have had good luck with Corsair Value Select an a couple of Macs.
