Anyone have this ?

Well I'm looking to play my Xbox, PS2 & GC on my pc. I've done some reading, and I'm wondering if this will do the job :

http://usa.asus.com/products/vga/tvfm/overview.htm

^^^ Goes best towards my budget, I'll also be using DScaler. I don't mind using S-video cables to, just as long as i'm getting decent quality.

I'd also like to watch TV, but I guess that's pretty standard.

-Thx in advance.

I would point you towards an ATI HDTV Wonder instead of this. Take a look at a few reviews.

I say if you want to play consoles and a monitor, get the Viewsonic Nextvision. The N4, N5, or N6. I suggest if you have the money, get the N6 because it can do High Def.

Anybody else, those ones are quite over my budget :(

The N4 is like $85. The reason I suggest those is because sometimes PCI tuners will have a lag to them. Meaning, when you hit a button on the controller there will be like a sec before it reacts on screen. PCI tuners are mainly for TV and not consoles. You could try though.

With my rig, the tv/fm tuner rocks, no lag on ps1 at all. However on a celeron 366 with ~200megs of ram (dont feel like doing math) and a gf 2 gts it lagged a bit with just streaming video. So, I suggest this one, I could find it for about $45 online I think, definetaly worth it, I paid $70 for mine and I'd do it again.

Local store has it for 45$CAD with no remote, and 59$ with one..Retail with both, I think I'll try that.
