Any Macbook Pro updates looming?

I'm thinking of getting one for my wife, who just went back to school. The current lineup has been around for at least 5 months now. I thought it would get re-freshed after Mac World... a least bump up the CPU speed or something... but that doesn't appear to be the case. Maybe it hasn't been announced, but feel free to speculate

I'd imagine sometime soon they'll be getting the new style keyboard like the Air has and the multi gestures trackpad.

On a side-note, just buy the thing already. I swear Apple users are the most finicky and afraid to pull the trigger than other people in the market. Your computer is going to get outdated, get over it.

I too was waiting, going from a mac book as I wanted the Pro. After Mac World, I said hell wiht it, and I got the Pro today. I have ZERO Regrets and love it to death!

Word on the street is around Feb 20th
Intel's Penryn CPU were delayed to mid Feb (which is why i guess Apple pushed back the release of the new MacBook and MacBook Pro's).

My guess is, new Nvidia GPU's, still at 1 inch, multi touch trackpad, LED for both Pro and regular with true color LCD screen. Maybe (in my fantasies) the trackpad is infact a small LCD touch screen display!

No, they were just updated in November.

They're probably not going to move back to a dedicated video chipset if that's what you're waiting for.

It's a key differentiating factor and probably just the right amount of cost-effective that Apple likes.
