• Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.

I'm still getting used to the new features, and I've manged to figure everything out except one thing. My two Professions are Enchanting and Tailoring, but when I click on enchant, the menu doesn't pop up showing me what things I can enchant, and same thing with Tailoring. I can't seem to figure out how to use any of my professions except disenchant, which that seems to work the same way. Do you have to be in a certain area to use enchanting and tailoring, kinda like with blacksmithing, you have to be near a forge and/or anvil ? I just can't seem to figure this one out. Like i said, I click on tailor, and nothing pops up, same thing when I click on enchant.

hit "K", go to the professions tab, click on the skill you want to use...it should open up a menu for you.

If that's not working, maybe you have old addons that are interfering?

yea, i tried that, I'll try deactivating my profession addon and see if thats it. thanks for the tip bro

edit - yep, that was it, stupid patch, makin it so my addons mess everything up. Oh well, Again, thanks for the help, i was starting to get really pissed that I couldn't use my profession

If you have a bunch of addons, check out Curse Client. It will let you know when you need to update your addons, and if you have a sub, it will do it automatically.

It's also a nice back-door into your PC to allow unscrupulous folks to install malware onto it. I'm not so sure it's a coincidence that both of my friends that use that program have had their accounts hacked, and have since then added authenticators to their accounts. (We're all IT technicians and deal with viruses everyday so we use antivirus software and best practices.)

Remove any filters applied to your skills. I had this problem at one point where I went to the filters and removed some crap.. soon as I did that.. all my enchants came up

Not if you knew how paranoid they are.

I've been using the Curse client for quite a long time, never been hacked. Adding an authenticator to your account is the single best thing you can do and no excuse not to.

OP:
Hit up the trainers, you have to train the basic skill again for some reason.
