alternative ati drivers?

I'm stick of the AMD Catalyst drivers. Always giving me problems, nothing works the way it should. I remember the old days using Omega drivers instead. What are my alternatives now?
 
It's always worth trying various different versions of catalyst. As a single-GPU user you aren't forced to stay up to date, so you should try something like 10.5 or 10.5a.
 
Other then afew games without CX support i have not had any issue with CX and Eyefinity on Cat 10.12

Which is exactly what Omega and others did anyway. They were still the normal Catalyst drivers, only driver components from various versions were mixed and matched.

The only non-Catalyst drivers that exist are the open source Radeon drivers for Linux, and they're about ten times slower than AMD's proprietary drivers.
