After I burn a cd image (cue & bin) using Alcohol 120, Windows recognizes that CD as an audio cd (but the cd image was an application, not audio). However, when I put that CD on other computers, I can read the CD correctly... Anyone know what causes the problem? I'm using Windows XP Professional w/SP1 and Alcohol 120 (1.4.8 Build 1222).
 
I think it's WinXP that has a popup every time you put a cd in that asks you, "what would you like to do?" with around 5 choices...something like play audio, browse cd, take no action, etc. and sometimes has an option of "always do this action." Maybe you clicked that on something similar and it's picking this cd up as the same type? Does it show as an audio cd in windows explorer? Also, do you only have one cd drive? It could be that the cd type you burned to isn't being read correctly...or maybe the burn type. I'd recommend another brand of cd first, and another cd drive second if you had one available.
 
It shows up as an audio CD in windows explorer. When I browse within the cd, all I can see is a single audio track...
 
There is another option just before you burn a cd in alcohol. It's in the lower left side of the window where you cna choose what type of cd you burn. I have mine set on custom, and have never had a problem.

Try checking that or tweaking with it
