I have two devices; a DVR and a Samsung blueray player that can both benefit by being connected to the internet.
The Samsung has a USB port that allows you to pay over 80 dollars for a device that will plug in and recognize your wireless network... The DVR does not.
My wireless G network is upstairs and I don't want to run cat5 cable downstairs to the entertainment area.
What I want is a device that can connect to my wireless network and offer two cat5 ports to then plug into these two devices.
Is this just another router set up as an access point? Are there more specialized pieces of hardware to accomplish this?
Help is appreciated.
Thanks
