i did a search on the sticky regarding the a7n8x boards and didn't get any results so i thought i'd make a new post (please excuse the lack of capital letters...yes, i'm lazy).

i have recently installed a a7n8x-e board into my comp. It has an athlon 2800+ (barton) and a 450w p/s. the memory being used is a generic 512mb pc2700 stick (in slot 1). When the system posts it says the "Memory frequency is 166 MHz". Is this correct? does this mean that everything is ok (since its ddr?) or does that not bode well..

thanking this glorious knowledge base in advance,
sunil

thank you kindly. :)
i was aware that 166x2 =333
but i wasn't sure if that was how the board would report it or whether there was actually a problem.

thanks alot :)
