Ok so 2 weeks ago I was running the 84.21 drivers because the 90 series were giving me problems with counterstrike (black squares). I decided to give the 90 series one more try because I use my machine with SageTV as well and I have heard the drivers were improving for playback. So I installed Xtreme G's 93.17 drivers(I think). And thats when I started to see little bits and pieces of red and blue pixelating artifacts. Wasnt bad tho and temps were low so I figured it was just something up with the drivers. So i went 2 weeks using those drivers and decided I would try to fix the issue, so I download the 93.17 off of nvidia site to try them. I did the proper uninstall(CP, reboot, safe mode, drivercleaner...) Installed the new ones and right away I could see the artifacts while on the desktop. Then running rthdribl I get this. http://www.unlistednetwork.com/images/artifacts.JPG . Except its a lot worse, and it will eventually crash after a few minutes.

I tried reinstalling 84.21 but I still get the same results. Do you guys thinks its my card dying or is there just something up with the drivers? It is a EVGA card and I was trying to remember if their cards have a lifetime warranty or not? Oh and I used the old driver cleaner 3.3.

Not exactly sure on their warranty, but you can find out a www.evga.com. Usually the 84.21 is the best driver for the 6 series video cards. If possible try this card in another system if you can not do that, then contact EVGA.

Yeah I have another computer with a 6200 in it, when I get home from work I'll get those switched out and see how it does in the other computer. It's just weird that I didnt see the problem with the 84.21 driver but now I do no matter what drivers I use, thats y I wanted to post on here to see if anyone else has seen this b4 I start hardware troubleshooting. Tried underclocking with coolbits but for some reason it will not let me, it just keeps going to default settings when I hit "test". Thanks for the reply.

Ok I tried the 6800U in a old PIII 700mhz with/4x agp. Don't know if that matters or not. But I have been running rthdribl for the past 30 minutes or so and I have not seen the first artifact. Seems to be running fine. I also put the 6200 in the computer that was artifacting and it seems to be working just fine in here, no problems at all. So I guess I'll try switching again and if it still doesnt work right I may be formatting.
