65db?

f'kin loud, your referring to fans right? If you want an airport in your room, get it :)

Wow, that's really loud. That's roughly on par with a noisy air conditioner, a hair dryer on the low setting or typical conversation volumes.

Yea, and your NOT gonna want an airport in your room. Ive had one of those, positively piercing.

What the hell kinda fan runs at 65db, anyway? A Shop Vac blower??

If you want higher CFM with less noise (55dBA), you could mod one of these big mothers into the side of your case...265 CFM!

I always liked my Vantec Tornados. Yeah, they were loud but I always knew if there was anything wrong with my system as long as I wouldn't be able to hear it anymore even if I was in another room. Besides, it drowned out all other ambient noise and gave me a nice hum to lull me to sleep. I went with a Koolance EXOS a little under two years ago and sold the Tornados. Took me at least a couple of weeks to begin to sleep well again. My son also had a sleeping problem for a while since they weren't going anymore.

You know I was thinking about that FrozenCPU fan if I ever build case.

Lol, one in the front, one in the back, one on top, and one on the side...err...$200, lol.

I don't think their are any rheostats available that handles 30 watts, even single channel...
