Heres some background info:

linksys e3000 with latest tomato firmware
1 wired pc
1 wireless pc laptop 5ghz
1 wired mbp
1 mba wireless 5ghz
2 wireless iphones on 2.4ghz
1 apple tv wireless 5ghz
1 ipad mini wireless 5ghz

So my issue is regarding the apple tv and the ipad mini. They sometimes have an issue "remembering" or "reconnecting" to my router on the 5ghz. Sometimes it'll take several minutes before it connects to the wifi. On my macbook air (also on 5ghz) it connects instantly. I tried googling this but came out empty, search results were not similar. Any idea what this could be? Something with the router settings most likely?

Is your SSID hidden? Unhide it and see if it connects faster.
