2007WFP + Rivatuner?

I just installed rivatuner, and used it to unlock my vanilla 6800 to 16x6 which has never given me any probelms with my old monitor (CRT), but for some reason everytime it boots up in windows now with DVI-D, it enters power saving mode. VGA gives no such problems. Changing the pipes back to stock and uninstalling rivatuner doesn't fix this problem...anyone ever encounter this before?
 
Apparently now it won't display any videos using DVI-D, all I get is a black window with sound...works fine with VGA so no problems with codecs or anything. Bah.
