I just got my 2005fpw wednesday. Overall I am happy about it; gaming, web, movies, ect ect all look great. However at any sort of angle the lower corners, when faced with a black background seem to get a copper tone to them. I have lowered the display, raised the display and tilted it all different angles. It seems I have to have it titled back and be looking exactly perpendicular for it to go away. Is this normal? Should I return it for another one? I have no dead pixels, no annoying sounds.

i get that same effect heath.
i think its just a limitation of the viewing angle..

This is a known characteristic of IPS lcd panels (which 2005 uses), they tend to get purplish hue when looking at a dark screnn at an angle..
There is nothing wrong with the monitor itself.
If you don't work in a completely dim room and have a good ambient light, this will probably not be very visible unless using extreme angles and looking at a completely dark screen.

But I am a hermit! I like my dark room :(
:D Well thanks for the info I guess I'll try it out for a little bit longer before deciding to return it.
