I've heard a lot of conflicting opinions about SSD drives from coworkers, so I want to check in with the community to learn your opinions.
Are SSD drives as reliable and fast as their plattered counterparts? Are there serious drawbacks?
I'm building a new PC for my wife, and as her OS drive, I'm deciding between 10K raptor drive and an SSD.
The size isn't a big deal, we'll be installing steam on a larger, slower drive anyway.
