    I have a Q9550 at 3.61 on air..
    I am planning on selling my system as a whole though so i can upgrade. To achieve this speed stable you will need my heat sink and fan, mobo, ram. its a Xigmatek heatsink i believe.
    Also using 8gb GSKILL ram, and a ASUS P5q turbo which is still under warrenty.

    If you are interested i could sell you the whole package for 300.00 i am pretty firm on the price.

    With my GTX 570 i get about 60FPS in BF3 at 2x fsaa full settings.

    Dont go with the Q6600 its too slow no cache. I believe i am running 12mb cache on the chip.

    The reason i am selling is because i am ready to spend 600-700 on new hardware. I have over 400 games in steam , it runs everything at 60FPS.. It will depend on your video card.. Your dual core cpu is pretty much seriously cpu restricted.
    Or if you are trying to save money you can go AMD route.

    I have heatware and ebay feedback if your are thinking about it let me know because i need to order my hardware
