Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
I just RMA'ed a pair of VX 4000 back to OCZ but since they have discontinued the VX line I will be recieving a pair of PC-4800 Platinum Edition EL DDR instead..
Now the dilemma is that I have another pair of VX 4000 and am using that now,
wich RAM should I use when my 4800 Plat. arrives ?

My OCZ VX runs at 1.5-2-2-5 at 250Mhz with the DFI voltage selector still in the 3.2V position. Feed that memory 3.2V and tighten those timings!
You animal! sweet timings man :)
What do you have your memory divider at?
I would appreciate to take a look at your bios cfg... hehe

Nahhh I´m not a total n00b =) .
Was thinkin to either get 4x512mb VX or 2x1gig G.Skill or sum other.
But since you say that the difference between 1T and 2T is minimal I think I´ll just go with 2 more VX..the timings on these sticks are l33t.
I have been wonderin the same thing my self ... to get 2 more 512mb sticks of OCZ VX or go with 2x 1gig sticks.
But I doubt I can find 2gb kit that runs @ 2-3-3-8. 250 mhz
Mr.(cf)eclipse: your thoughts please =)

Hmm I guess that AMD has no real competition in the consumer market, execpt that Intel has the big OEM builders by the balls apparently...
But it´s a different story in the server segment.....AMD is the mouse that roared when it comes to servers :D
Not like it´s an easy job to overtake...
I see no reason in upgrading my Xp3200 NF2 system yet. I think that by next summer when WinXp 64 hits the streets I will consider it tho, but what i´m relly lookin forward to is the dual core CPU´s ,,, that does look promising.
But at the time being by current setup suits all my gaming needs...
Bah! its higly debatable who´s makin better vid cards, but for upgrades and such I would go for GF 6600 SLi, but not everyone has a PCIe mobo.
I think in this case as a pure vid card upgrade from Gf 4200 considering budget and all, a X800 Pro/ X800 XT or a Gf 6600 /6800 would be the answer.

AKG K-501 ...... cant beat the price ca. $150. very accurate sound, so when in a sneaky, sniper situation you will hear the enemy, Used them for Q3 for a long time and this makes a world of difference in 1v1.. just get a seperate Mic from labtech since you will prolly be using the Headphones...
hmm I had that particular problem not so long ago ... I set the fan speeds as dynamic in ATIi Tool as 60c @ 70% and so on, but it seemd that it did not lock in after reboot. So after a few minutes of gaming the whole thing would heat over and lock my system up =/ but after a few trys with the...
