Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
I'm trying to check the bios version on a dell poweredge 2650 and its running red hat entiprise. I can't reboot the server as it is servicing users 24/7. Anyone know a way to check the bios version without rebooting or installing the 89mb openmanage? All help greatly appreciated.

I use Thunderbird and used to use outlook express, this is much better. free is always good. good products for free is even better. dont let the fact that it is a beta bother you, its more stable than my operating system, For me it has everything i need and not much that i dont *cough* outlook...
I have used dragon naturally speaking and it took so long to get going i might as well have just trained a money to hit the right keys for me. Atleast then i know it was the monkey and not some computer error.
Darn AIM, you cant use it without getting wild tangent and viewpoint media player installed. I really think they should look into their policies on security.
i get that two and i say no just for security, i figure if they dont have a error message i dont want it. its not from cracks or anything, just good ol microsoft lovin, its the little things they do that shows how much the customer means to the software giant.
back on topic, using firefox for web browsing is great, I would switch to that and just let it clear your stuff when ever you feel the need for security and cleansing as well if you clear out the my documents and run your favorite media players with some benign files, to clear out the histories...
I've been looking for a similar program, just something to help me schedule my time. I love my thunderbird and firefox so i'm not wanting to give those up for a clunky program either. Waiting for a good solution.
I personally like to use winamp for just about everything, the later versions have been giving me troubles, but it just stays out of the way and with some added codecs it plays just about anything.
I love firefox i pretty much only use that, between the built in google and tabed browsing, the pop blocker, its all i need in a web browser. Using thunderbird for email is good to, only it does occasionaly mark my stuff as spam when i dont want it to. overall they are just as reliable to me as...
microsoft came up with 2 patches for the windows update problem, couldn't get it right the first time?? anyways, go to windows update and get yourself patched. either that or upgrade your OS win98 does that alot.
I would see if it works and keep the air moving in that case or else just shut it down. check bios and set up a failsafe temp to keep it from getting that high. heat + computers = bad stuff.
are probably confusing the Megabyte and Megabit, Serial ATA is definatly what you want on your internal drive, unless you are moving the drive around or have no space in your case i would definatly go that way. SATA definatly.
its amazing what starting over can fix, take a look at windows for example, doesn't work, restart, still doesn't work, reformat. congrats on getting it to work
