Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
100K views. Nice :)
Keep up the updates. I was going to say hopefully RAM prices peak and start dropping soon, but then I looked at the last kit I bought -
G.Skill Trident Z5 RGB Series (Intel XMP) 64GB (2 x 32GB), which I bought in October 2023 for £197, is now...
I run with Gysnc on, FPS capped to 235 in RTSS, I still haven't seen any ingame flicker, even if the FPS drop below 60, but as I said, loading screens, absolutely.
Did a full/clean uninstall and ran nvidia cleanup (I don't usually use these things but what the hell) and reinstalled 581.80, as it was not doing this up until very recently. So far, so good, W3 still crashes on load sometimes but will load a 2nd time and keeps the framerates, as does CP2077...
I've just started playing Witcher 3 again, and noticed something odd going on with Frame Generation. If I do a clean boot, and then run say Cyberpunk 2077 benchmark, I will usually consistently get around 94-95FPS as the average. This is 4K with RT on, DLSS performance and Frame Generation on...
I think having the extra space for the system to cache more in RAM is beneficial, I've got 64GB but the system will regularly use 30-34GB just with a few programs running in the background and some gaming. I'm not concerned about running out of RAM, and for $70 I'd say it's a no-brainer :).
They've been out a couple of years now, and were only really average. You also need to define 'reasonable', because that means different things to different people.
It's meant for use with games that don't natively support Frame Generation, I think. It's been a bit hit 'n miss for me, but I'm on a 4080 so not the original intended audience :)
