Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
The reality is it's a business and it's purpose is to make money. If they did stuff like that they would eventually go out of business and not exist. Gabe also doesn't own the entire company. There are infinite other things they could...
It selling out doesn't mean anything. They could had 100 units or scalpers jumped on it. I was seeing steam Decks going g for over $1k before the price increase.
Yea subsided model doesn't work for Valve at a $300+ loss per unit. No doubt Valve has numbers of how many games that own steam decks owners purchase. I wouldnt be surprised if it only a couple hundred average a year per owner which proabaly were...
Gabe can do as he pleases with his money. You bought your game. His cut is his cut.
If costs are up 400 dollars. For Valve to eat that s you suggest. Every deck they subsidize would need to sell $1333.33 to break even revenue wise. Factor in all...
I think its a bit insane to expect companies to eat 3 or $400 per unit cause they like us.
In this case though the better move for them would have just been to not restock the Deck. Simply say it was EOL. Jacking the price up to where its at...
Sooo we're talking about this game no longer officially supporting hdd's instead of the fact that we're getting another DLC for an 11 year old masterpiece? What did I miss?
It proabaly work with windows 10. It is just not support it by MS and they don't want to waste money and time on it. Also who the fuck still uses spinner outside of a NAS or just mass storage in their PC these days? It proabaly been 15 years...
and i doubt it's going to get much better graphic-wise anytime in the near future because game devs are going to be looking at the steam hardware survey and see the majority of people using older hardware and if next-gen consoles do come out...
They didn't update the price for the LCD decks because they didn't restock those. You see the OLEDrefurbished is almost as much as a new one originally was.
Edit
Actually I think those OLED refurbs are more then the original new price? Also...
$1200 steam machine is going to be a thing and DoA. S2 doesn't look so bad now lol. Steam deck is dead. Cam you put Steam OS on the Ally X? You better off buying that or the none X over a Steam Deck at these prices.
I would not be surprised if they tried to make it a action right like XVI. They got some sense knocked into them from watching how XVI flopped and decided to correct course and go back to turn based. I can't wait til for DQ12.
Looking forward to it - I'm curious what caused the re-development. I remember reading that it was going to be a more 'mature' setting, so was a bit worried they were going to GoT-size the series like they did with FF XVI and my other concern...
We had apple computers when I was in elementary school but they never let anyone use them lol. They kept the computer lab locked up outside a couple typing lessons.
