Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Pretty much true, I used to handle the recruiting for our guild (I quit about 7-8 months ago) and it pretty much got to the point where you either had the time to invest in all the prep work, raiding, and misc activities or you didn't. Playing wow at the high-end level was a HUGE timesink...
If you can't get pass level 31 or whatever in WoW, I don't think any other mmorpgs will hold your interest. WoW is so easy to level vs. other mmos. I guess there are games like guild wars that might be what you're looking for, but I haven't heard much about it since people were hyping it up...
Wondering if I should upgrade..
Current system:
P4 3.0 OC to 3.4
6800GT OC
1 gig XMS 3200
Budget: around 1,000
Usage: gaming (WoW, BF2, CS), etc
I thinking of going with one of the AMD dual core chips - not really sure what I should get to notice a significant difference from what...
Don't know why you would spend 5k on a computer. For 2,000-2,500 you could get a very top of the line computer. With the way tech is moving, what you buy now will be old in a few months. I'd say spending wisely on the components and put the rest away somewhere - that way in 3 months you can...
Isn't that what all sports games are? Unless they do a overhaul of the graphics engine, the yearly versions are updated rosters with a few new bells and whistles. Yet, people still buy them year after year.
They have made a few changes here and there, but nothing that would completely make the game foreign to you. In regards to hunters, they are overhauling the talent trees in the upcoming 1.7 patch - might be a worthwhile class to look into.
It's not that simple. Yes, they will likely be able to delete duplicate items, but the real problem is the gold that has been moved from one person to another over the past 3-4 days. For example, a player duplicates an items, sells it for 1,000 gold. The gold is then used to purchase other...
There is definitely something going on. The maintenance period has been extended..
"The weekly maintenance has been extended while we investigate the validity of the claims regarding a possible exploit in the game. We remind our players that discussing possible exploits on the official...
You don't need to cancel. You will not be able to access your account after 10 days unless you actually purchase the game.
So, basically it "cancels" automatically for you after your 10 days are up.
If you don't like their downloading system, you can download from other sites - not too hard to find a link either.
Regarding the patching, they have always patched on the same day they do maintenance. Basically, if the test servers are up, then expect a patch on the 2nd or 3rd Tuesday...
The consoles are not the main sources of revenue, the sales of games, accessories, licenses are where they make their money. Basically they can just break even or take a slight loss if they wanted to. I believe this is how xbox did it.
Yes, in the long run GW will still be cheaper than other mmorpgs, but not by very much. The expansions from the other mmorpgs are major expansions as opposed minor expansions that GW will offer. I'd say these expansions will be on par with a large patch, but I could be wrong!
