    Relatively Quiet?

I have a GTX285 which was annoying me, so I put it on water. I had that running with an XSPC RX120 (optimized for low speed fans sub1200rpms). Then my i7 920 with a Zalman was annoying me, so I put that on water. Now my hard drives are annoying me. Relatively quiet is a vicious cycle man...

New and Improved Watercooling Sticky - Post Your Systems Here

XSPC-Restop/Swiftech 350>XSPC RX120>RX240>HK 3.0 LT>EK FC285 Any suggestions on making it better? I realize the tubing between the GPU and RES is kinda long, but it helps with i'm trying to take things apart.

    Asus p6t MB temp @ 60c?!?

I dunno if the thread you're talking about was mine, but I ended up having two exhaust fans for the rad and my "system temp" likes to idle around 42 and goes no higher than 46C now. I think even with all those 200mm fans, direction of the fans and case pressure might help. However you're...

    Problems Bleeding my Loop

@ekuest here are some pics First pic is a close up of the Bubbles after i tapped everything out, and about 1.5 hours of playing TF2 and the 2nd pic is the whole loop, The liquid through teh block doesnt seem clear, looks a little hazy. It's hard to make out but to the outlet side of the card...

    Problems Bleeding my Loop

So I've tried just Jumpstarting the PSU to get the pump to run... flipped the whole case upside down while the pump is running... and nothing. Infact I think the bubbles are getting worse?! I've also tried tighitng all the fittings as much as possible by hand (no extra 1/8" turn), Granted I...

    Problems Bleeding my Loop

@RedRaider: I've tilted my rig and i've shaken it , hell if it was a small child it'd have shaken baby syndrome by now. I'll let it settle and see if I still get the same problems. Would it be ok if I were to say... unplug and plug the pump while the system is running? Obviously I wouldn't...

    Problems Bleeding my Loop

I've had my WC loop setup for about 3 weeks now and I'm still having trouble with bubbles forming in the loop. It's a single loop: Res/Pump>RX120>RX240>CPU>GPU>Res/Pump Components: -HK 3.0 LT on an i7 920 -EK-FC285 GTX (no stand offs, card doesn't appear to be bending) -Swiftech 350 +XSPC...

Zalman 9900+i7 920 fun... anyone else installed/used this?

Had the CNPS 9900 LED on a 920 i7, It had decent temps idle/load ~29C/~60C -- no oc. But It was a bit loud for my tastes. Mounting wasn't too bad. It is pretty big, but then again most heatsinks today are. If only it wasn't as loud, I would've kept it on... I ended up going WC instead lol...

Just put together new loop, need help with temps

@Ogre67: It seems that I just might need more rad space >_< I was going by Skinee's lab test, which said I should be able to do about 350W with the RX360 with fans on on low speed. I thought maybe it's because I'm not using a true RX360, but a 120+240. Unless maybe because on the 240 it's...

Just put together new loop, need help with temps

new load tests are pushing CPU Load to 67C under prime95 after 40 minutes. I guess it's ok since it's under 70C, but I just keep thinking that it should be lower. Ambient temp is around 24-25C, but the room does get a bit warm (bad ventilation, nothing I can do about it) @shazza: The Vcore at...

    QDC Drain Idea?

Well I setup my loop and I'm pleased with it more-or-less, but i didn't add a dedicated drain line. Not that I plan on draining it soon... but incase I want to add more parts later, I should put one in. The lowest part of the system is a Swiftech MCP 350 with an XSPC res top on the bottom of...

    HeatKiller 3.0 Socket 1366.....WOW!!!

random question... does the 1336 LT (or regular) come with the little black T that is meant to split the inlet for dual core processors? Would it be possible that this piece got lodged inside the processor? When I got my LT I could hear something in it when I shook it. Is this normal?

Just put together new loop, need help with temps

any other ideas on how to lower the idle on my CPU? I really feel like it should be closer to ambient temp (24C). I could understand if it was like 29C again, but 37C just seems high, especially since the system is at idle. I think it may be possible that by applying AS5 and then smearing it...
