    I figured out the solution incase anyone knows anyone experiencing this problem. I turned down wave to 10%, and cranked my speakers. WALA! No more popping, at all, period, never. Pretty pleased, was considering buying a new soundcard :)

    I think it's been about a month. Is that realistic? If I set the mode to audio creation mode the popping goes away, but the sound is awful. So it's none of those issues... unfortunately... I'm using the most recent drivers.
