Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Cool!
Thanks for the heads up.

I turned down wave to 10%, and cranked my speakers.
WALA! No more popping, at all, period, never.
Pretty pleased, was considering buying a new soundcard :)
I think it's been about a month.
Is that realistic?
If I set the mode to audio creation mode the popping goes away, but the sound is awful.
So it's none of those issues... unfortunately...
I'm using the most recent drivers.
So I've been experiencing annoying popping sounds while listening to Itunes, or Youtube...
Doesn't really happen with porn, and never, ever, happens with video games.
I've tried moving the PCI slot it's in, tried reinstalling the drivers, tried updating the BIOS, tried different settings and...
Hey.
Could this by any chance be a codec issue, rather than a soundcard driver issue?
I find it doesn't really pop with Itunes anymore, and if it does, it's very infrequent.
Only really happens with youtube, constantly.
When I'm watching porn, it doesn't pop at all.
It doesn't happen during...

I don't think my Mobo is up to date.
Don't really know.

Typically downloading drivers doesn't stump me too much... Maybe...
Alright, here's the deal, since I bought this ridiculously annoying soundcard 2 years ago I've been getting crackling/popping sounds while listening to certain audio.
It occurs during Itunes, youtube, and a couple other media viewers...
Doesn't happen while playing games, but it does happen...
Alright, not one person has one little suggestion?
