    I found the problem after formatting again. It was my onboard NIC drivers, if I install them I get the problem, once disabled/uninstalled it works fine. I've tried the latest drivers too. Anyone got a solution except another NIC?

    I've only run 1 spyware program (spybot), and it was updated, yes. There is no cd inside right now. I'm sharing an internet connection using a linksys 4 port router, no drives are mapped. I'm not really networked to the other computer on the network since I reformatted and diidn't set...

    Your bios isn't configured correctly. Try to load optimised/performance defaults from the bios, should work.
