Hmmm I was worried about possible motherboard failure - but I started to think otherwise when I tested OTHER power supplies and they all work with this one.
In your opinion / knowledge, can a bad motherboard work with some power supplies and not others?

the computer is quick, but everything I do - the harddrive needs to work.(even just moving a window) Is this a sure sign of lack of memmory?

After a discharge and a full recharge, same thing.... on normal power one percent battery life goes away per ~50 sec.
BLAH.
And what is the deal with it telling me theres a full charge in ~2 hours.. that CAN'T be possible if it's charging to full capacity..
Yes, I fully charged it - but this was the first time I ever used it. So it hasn't had a complete re-charge yet

I know it's not great, but I have the built in Intel extreme graphics and a video card is not an option because this is a tiny tiny computer in a totally custom case which does not allow for another video card unless I were to get an AGP riser - and even then with modern day video cards...
If i use my windows XP cd that works from my other computer (retail version) can i just run the "repair" option in setup and have it not ask me for a CD Key on the laptop?
