    Dell sucks

To each his own. I've actually had pretty good experience with Dell tech support. Called them up yesterday afternoon regarding a dead battery for one of my VP's D600. Battery arrived to our office this morning before me! No complaints here.

    Carrying cases - backpack style

Samsonite makes pretty good stuff too. I bought one of their shoulder bags w/ wheels. Takes a lot of abuse. Tons of space. Put three laptops plus work documents in there one time. Heavy as hell, but that's what the wheels are for.

    Sony Vaio Notebooks...?

Do it! I love Sony laptops. Great style and great build quality. My GRV680 weighs like a rock but it's built like a rock too. No keyboard flex, no chassis flex.

Not sure if this is in the right forum or not. But does anybody remember that free program that you install on a computer and it spits out a report telling you what software and hardware that particular computer has?

    RTC Batteries

Anybody know of a good place to buy a RTC battery for a Satellite Pro and a good tutorial on how to change it?

Best cell phone that doesnt have a camera?

My VP just got that phone. Pretty good stuff there. But I prefer my P900 just because it's got a touchscreen. i600 is smaller though, and that's a big plus.

    should i get this laptop

Good buy. As far as the weight, after you carry it around, you don't really notice it. My laptop is a tad over 9 pounds. 16" behemoth. I carry it around everyday and have gotten used to it.
