Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
I just picked up a 1200. It is really well made. The aluminium is very thick and the side panels are backed up with structural rails. I can push on the drive covers pretty hard without them budging. I can't vouch for anything else in Lian-Li's line, but the 1200 is solid.
Google fixed the flaw the day they found out about it. UnixFormula.com posted a little ditty about it. How is that for a turn-around time on a security flaw? Security flaws will be found, the question is how fast they are responded to. Plus, if a website suddenly redirected me to my gmail...
Anyone using this for their K8N Neo2 Plat? Is it worth using for Core Center, or can someone else recommend another piece of software that can read mb/cpu temps and adjust cpu fan speed.
Hmmm, if the light is bothering you, just cover up the window with some cardboard and duct-tape. :D
(yes, I know he didn't say that, was just continuing on the thread.)
No such thing as a good LCD :P The tech still has a long way to go before they can truly compete with CRT's. Sure do wish my 19" CRT was the size of a 19" LCD though :P
I just put one on a new eVGA 6800U. I didn't check the temps before I switched over (just popped it into my system to make sure it wasn't dead.) It maintains a constant 50-58C. A couple notes. I had to mod my card to fit the silencer 5 on it. The metal edge of the card (where it screws into...
I have a N52, and there isn't any way to make it fit a devil's child. I haven't heard of anything like it that would work for you either. Sorry, learn to use your proper hand, Right is right!! ;)
More than likely it is a grounding problem. Pull the cover off of the wall outlet. Check to see if the outlet is truely grounded. You should see a wireset come into the wall box. There should be 3 wires coming out of the wireset, a black, a white, and an uncovered copper wire. The copper...
I as said before, I have no problem with them being out of a product, just have the decency to let me know so I can make a decision to change/cancel my order. Don't inform me, then walk out of the office. Second, when I originally called this morning and started talking to a lady on the phone...
I could care less about Monarch's policies. According the the agreement they have with the credit companies, they aren't supposed to charge a card until they are ready to ship a product. Any agreement they have with me is trumped by the agreement they previously made to use Discover card for...
Monday, Oct 18th, I ordered a 3200+ 90nm chip from Monarch Computer along w/other hardware totalling about $620. I spent an extra $26 on 2-day shipping to ensure that I would receive it before the weekend. Everything was looking good, until last night at 5:00 PM when I received this email...
I'm using a Mitsubishi Diamond Pro 930sb and it is amazing. They aren't cheap, but aren't super expensive either (compared to LCD, etc.) and the picture is PERFECT.
Both Monarch and Newegg are out of 90nm's. I ordered one from Monarch 2 days ago and they just told me that they didn't have any more in stock. I love it when a company feels it's ok to take your money and then not send out the product you ordered.
I'm using a Leadtek WinFast TV USB II on my system right now. It was working great at my last apartment, but I just moved and I'm getting a buzz out of the cable when I have the sound cable plugged into my mb. Basically just a ground problem w/the cable box. I've tracked it down, but been to...
