i've been building systems for a long time, and never had this problem.
mobo has am2 socket, stated it supports athlon64 - in addition to all the newer x2, etc.
got it, cannot fit the a64 chip in the socket. i know it was an old 939 cpu... but from what i read it looked the am2 socket was...
agreed on all points except boating, which i'm questionable on. freshwater boating it would be fine, but i question how well it would do in saltwater environment (outside the cabin of course, tons of people with big cabins have tv's and they're fine).
