Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.

Because someone who says:
Is going to be able to just stick this stuff together in the dfi board and run at 270*10 right off the bat. If he follows your advice, he will have a $1400 headache for 2 months.
Start off with the board that is stable off the bat. If you want to really get...
I just got my Winnie 0512 3000+ last night (couldn't hold old for venice/san diego any longer)
Matched it up with my DFI ultra-D and OCZ VX PC4000 and booted up to 250x9 1:1 2-2-2-8 dual channel 1T right off the bat 100% stable (well, after I flashed to 414-2 BIOS). I'd imagine any...
I broke down and bought a 3000+ Winchester. It came in last night - I plan on using this until 3700+ San Diegos are in stock @ the Egg. I'm already down to a 36s superpi @ 2290 mhz after one night of overclocking. Corrupted my Windows install trying to go further though so I have to...
I don't know what more you could possibly need? These are all of the big ones (at least in USA). I order everything fro newegg because the service/shipping is outstanding and I rarely see a better price.
Also, by "64 bit parts" I'm assuming you are looking for a 64 bit processor?
This is a wonderful idea, however I would prefer that the featured items be more suited to the overclocking community...
Such as:
OCZ memory
DFI/MSI/Abit/Asus mobos
OCZ, Fortron, Enermax, etc PSU's
GT/Ultra or XL/XT video cards
I'm sure this is all common knowledge though. I'm...
If you have any intention of overclocking and you are putting this much money into a system, you should be waiting for a Venice/San Diego core processor. They should be available any day now...
I get the idea that you are running your ram really slow, but maybe I'm just loopy...
When you say you are running your ram at 333 and 266,
Do you mean DDR333 and DDR266 (when you boot it should say something like that) or DDR666 and DDR533?
If you are running at DDR333 you're going...
There is nothing wrong with that tccd ram if you want to get it, however if it were my build I would go with PC4000 OCZ vx. In fact, I have 2 sticks of it sitting here waiting for a processor :)
Grr.. If only I could *know* I was getting a decent overclocking Winchester right now, I would get one... but lately a lot of people have been having horrible OC's, so I'm doomed to wait for AMD to provide my salivating self with a Venice or San Diego, grR!
P.S. Eclipse what server are you on...
We've seen 3500+ and 3800+ overclocked.. I am wondering just how far the 3000+ venice will go. That could be the ultimate budget overclocker in a month or two.
