Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
I was leaning towards Fox_Au's setup because he seems to be really happy with it and linking me to all the product pages makes discretionary spending very easy..! The more research I do though, the more I seem to be leaning towards passives.

Fox_au,
Awesome setup (checked out the pictures on the sticky)
Could you give a quick run down of that that would be wired?
(2 Speakers) -> RCA -> Edirol -> Usb -> Computer?
Zenshi, thanks for your advice!
Are Recievers and such common place in these sort of setups? I'm used to plugging in the multicolored stereo minis and only seeing recievers in home theatre setups! :pI wont be keeping any Z-5500's components, but I do currently have a soundcard.
Thanks...
I'm looking to move away from my current silly set up, Logitech Z-5500's, into "real" speakers. Something 2.0ish. Any suggestions for under 500$ and how would I convert this into something I can plug into the back of my computer?
The below picture, taken form Raikiri in the post the setup...
Help! My FW900 is whining loudly!
Things I've tried:
Changing between a variety of resolutions/refresh rates
Switching between BNC and VGA
Letting it discharge
Moving it around
It gets louder the brighter the monitor is, so it seems to be something power related. Any ideas what it is...
Hello!
I have 6 x (10kRPM)(SCSI)(9.2gig) drives, pictured below
The machine I ripped them out of (IBM Netfinity 3000) had the controller card on the motherboard. I want to hook them up to my modern computer. Is this possible or even worth it? Thanks
