One of the system files in my windows install on my raid0 setup is corrupt.
I can't repair the file because the windows install disc doesn't recognize my raid setup. (and i dont have a floppy drive around atm).

Ever since i've upgraded to 81.98 forceware, i can't run 2 video/game applications at the same time.
Not sure if this is specific to the drivers or not, but im sure i was able to watch videos while World of Warcraft or Battlefield 2 was running.

So i took off the giant NV5 silencer and reapplied the thermal compound.
Turned it back on and still not working, tryed restarting a few times, and finally got it to boot.
Idling at a nice 51ºC and working fine. thanks to all who responded :D
Hey all, i've been having problems with my 6800GT recently.
Every few hours it started locking up, and crashing my computer. :mad:
Now, everytime i boot up i get the following..

My 6800GT has the AV silencer on it...
i dont know why people like those thermaltake cases... it looks so bad
and having the usb/firewire on top is kinda pointless, unless you're using it for like a digital camera or its under your desk.
I'm loving my NV5 also. Took me two tries to get it right though.
Used standard thermal compound on the ram, and arctic silver 5 on the GPU.
Running easily at 425/1.10
Idle: 51ºC
Load: 72ºC
