    Sorry for the lack of information. The 3400+ mhz AMD deal at Newegg.com, $99 and free mobo. Im only upgrading because of the low price for the chipset. And I only plan on upgrading when I switch to PCIe.

    I left the batterys out of the comp for 6hrs today, and still no progress. I got it to boot up when I got pissed and hit ctrl alt delete like 10 time on a row rapidly. So is it getting stuck in post? Since it recognized ctrl alt del?

    leadtek 6800nu's hsf any good?

    Umm... the GT does use double slot cooling. I have the GT version, and I love the temps. Around 50c/122f idle and 75c/167f ish load. The room temp is around 18c/65f. Best out there in my opinion (all copper), the shipping weight of the card is 3lbs, most of that is the card!

    What we know about the Half Life 2 stuttering issue thus far

    I am experiencing no stuttering in the game, and I have a radeon 7200 (6800gt hasnt come yet). Only thing is random game crashes with an error of "...cannot read the memory" on a windows error window. So, I would have to say that it is safe to rule out a gpu problem.

    Have you ever seen a photo-realistic digitally rendered object?

    Holy poop! That guy and tea pot are awsome! Another good example I the space trash scene in Fight Club. Each frame took one day to render, looks pretty damn good for a movie picture.
