How good are old PC's for folding?

I was thinking of setting up 1/2 P2's, and probably my grandad's old P2 (He died of cancer) to fold 24/7, or near enough 24/7 Would these be a waste of bandwidth and electricity compared to one high spec machine?

The summer has taken its toll...What now

Okay now everyone has had there laughs. The PC runs fine on another PSU, and my multimeter tells me that all voltages are within 5% apart from -12V....Which is -1.5V!!!!!!!!!! Anyway does this mean I have been one very lucky but equally stupid person  lol
