Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
I've just bought a replacement ATX psu for my uncles HP pavilion and it makes a very load whine when I turn it on. Do HP use proprietry psu or something utterly stupid ? I also noticed there seems to be a pink cable plugging into pin 22, does anyone know what this is for?
I'm looking to add a second hard drive to a HP a405 (http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=c00100539&lc=en&cc=us&dlc=en&product=397597&lang=en) and am thinking of putting a 500gb in, is there a limit to the size of the disk this pc would support?
I heard that the STT20000 is backwards compatable so can read some old tr4 tapes I have aswell as backing up on to tr5 tapes, but in tape ware I get an illegal request when I try and read/format to a tr4. Is there any way to do this?
I need to get local setitngs in documents and settings to copy over to the server roaming profile but can't see anywhere that windows supports it. Is the only option to write a vbs script to copy it over manually or am I missing something?
Just installed a motherboard that was pulled from my working system into another case. ITs a chaintech apoge. It will switch on, fans on the chipset start up etc but it won't post. Tried it without ram, without processor etc and no error beeps etc. Is it dead?
