    check with cpu-z if it is really downgrading the speed and voltage. Also, in XP, go to Power Options icon on Control Panel and configure, on "Power schemes" field the "Minimal Power Energy" option to enable Cool'n'Quiet.

    ok. Now with ambient temp of 25ºC, and cool & quiet on, i get 32ºC at idle, 45ºC under full load (prime95). And with 31ºC ambient, i get 35-36ºC idle, and 47-50ºC full load. That temps seems more correct. Thank you all for your help :)
