    I don't know what BIOS it is, but it is the default one that came with my mobo. Problem is not fixed, but I have sent an e-mail to Creative and I do intend to take advantage of there 60 day phone service. I'll let you know what happens.

    this is the gigabyte 6800gt which comes with its own temp utility. apparently, the temp monitor misreads because of some bug with the new drivers.
