    I tried the PSU in another computer and it works just fine. Both of the computers have the same kind of processor, AMD Athlon 64. Is is possible there could be something different with the mobo? I ain't no computer expert so I'm just throwing guesses out there?

    I wrote down everything I unplugged on the old PSU and plugged it all back in with the new one. I will try that paper clip trick right now, but the PSU does fire up, it just shuts down right away. No, I haven't tried the PSU in another system yet.
