Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.

I created a folder in the C:\ directory to store music and movies and install programs. Any attempt to move files to or from this folder without the registry tweak gave me an "access denied" error. Reg tweak installed, no problems.
Earlier this week I lost the password to Faronics Deep Freeze on my computer and have been trying to remove it. After numerous failed attempts to crack the program and its deep embedding on the hard drive, I decided to just f-it and format and reinstall.

Does anyone know if there are any pieces of hardware commonly used in desktops or laptops that work EXCLUSIVELY with windows Vista? I am preparing to buy a $2000+ laptop and want to make sure that if it has Vista I can junk that bitch.
Regardless of the good experiences some of you may...
Cliffs:
1. Found options with almost everything I want
2. $40 - $120
3. Is there a good Bluetooth tech thread I can read? Bad sound quality seems to come solely from lack of A2DP support (sucks to have a Mac).
4. Many headphones have split-second delay when gaming or watching...
I am going to use these headphones with a laptop, do you know how to tell if a laptop bluetooth card is mono or stereo supported? I would assume laptop bluetooth cards are more functional than cellphone ones simply because there is more power available to consume.
Do you know if the...
The connection to home stereo is the least of the requirements but the reviewer didn't really like the BlueAnt Phones. Apparently different devices can be bluetooth mono-only and stereo is really what's needed.
Motorola seems to have a few products I am looking for but since they are for...
I want:
- Wireless stereo headphones (with mic would be better)
- Good sound quality (not audiophile, but enough to prove that 192kbps sounds better than 128kbps).
- Rechargeable (base to place them on or can use rechargeable batteries)
- Bluetooth connectivity so I don't need a goddam...
I am currently looking to gather more information on a company I believe may be attempting to scam my volunteer organization. I don't want to do anything illegal, but I want to find out more contact information about this group.

I have heard people complain many times about how chkdsk can cause more problems than it will solve.
Does anyone here know a better piece of software to scan for and repair damaged or corrupted sectors?
I am going to test her ram, but this happened to my RAM seemingly out of the blue. I have had this RAM for almost 3 years and it worked fine up until last week. Her RAM, which had worked without an issue in the past, all of a sudden started giving her the same errors mine gave me. If it is an...
Last week I was using my HP Pavillion zv5000 laptop and all of a sudden BLUE SCREEN!!! It was completely out of the blue, so I was understandably worried. I rebooted, the computer made it to the windows splash-screen and immediately shut down without so much as a beep. I tried rebooting again...
Thanks for the tip on otter, though they appear to be more expensive than pelican cases.
The Pelican 1490 or 1495 seem to be the best option and both are under $200.
