It was only a matter of time before they had to give in and pass on costs to the consumer. If you follow the spot price trends of the two main drivers, RAM (16GB LPDDR5 chips) and storage (comparable 2230 1TB), it's almost a one-to-one...

No the 5900xt is a 16 core refresh, released in 2024. 5900 and 5900x are 12 core parts (65w and 105w respectively).
