    Hello, I was wondering in my board I have a gig of patriot generic ddr2 533 ram and im not that impressed with the performance im sure its the horible timings. Should I just step down and pic up some 2-2-2 ddr 400 memory. Or would it be worth it to find some decent timed ddr2?

    X700 or 6600 PCI-E

    Go for 6600gt, it beats the x700 in all the benchmarks that ive read. You can find them for about $180 bucks or cheaper sometimes.

    BFG Tech is awesome!

    Their cards are good for overclocking too; I have my (don’t laugh) gforce fx 5200 up to 290 core from 250. I’ve heard with extra cooling people getting them to over 300. Anyway, BFG is a very good company and I would recommend even spending a lil’ extra money just to get their support and cards.

    yeah i know that, I have both ddr 1 and ddr2 slots. Also got pci-e and an agp slot. This moboard is pretty sweet.
