    Im getting ready to buy a new rig and wanted to OC a e6420, and so far the thermalright ultra 120 with a 120mm fan seems to be best. according to a lot of reviews, it's heavy, and safer to use support.. i dont get how it could be supported to not flex the mobo

    45 seems decent, but a *bit* high for using a zalman 9500, and if you apply AS5, itll reduce your temp a few degrees, but a few degrees is way worth it imo

    first make sure that its actually at 50C by getting coretemp or speedfan. If its still at 50C, it could be many things, and you should think of everything that could be wrong before resinking. and whats your room temp?
