    Well... Solectron has been the repair center for a few years now Long before the change over. It is true that they have botched many repairs mine being one of them but Lenovo can't be blamed for this one.

    The above dimensions are the correct ones. But some clarification. Thickness ranges from .94 to 1.01 as it is kinda wedge like. Also the depth ranges from 8.3 with 4 cell battery and the 9.3 is with the extended 8 cell battery as well as the weight difference is 2.7lbs with the 4 cell and 3.2lbs...
