Not sure if you're anywhere near a micro center.. but they have some pretty sweet deals going on, they have AMD ryzen 7 7xxx x3d CPUs, with really nice motherboards and 32 gigs of DDR 5 starting out at around $550... And that's really not bad at all, the performance difference between the one...
So I've been working on an old ryzen 2700x with a Vega 64, a 240 AIO, 4x8gb Corsair vengeance ddr4 3200 and a AC strix x370 f gaming motherboard
The first settings optimization that I did was simply turned on expo.. although I can't remember what they call it on that generation of Chip
And...
I did find an RTX 3060 12GB used for $200 locally, includes a new DDR4 3600 2x8GB kit... also found open box b580 12gb for $209 local, and a rtx 4060 8gb for $200, again, local, Great looking card, all white which would match my plans for this build(no need to paint the fan shroud.
Please read again. This thread has a different purpose. I am trying to figure out what a good $150-$200(maybe even $250) GPU would be to pair with this rig. Thanks
My son and I are starting to flip pcs.. I used to do this way back in the day.. but haven't done it since 2018
The first machine that we are going to try and flip is as follows
I5 10400
Asus prime z490-a
32gb ddr4 3200(2x16)
We haven't decided which one of the M.2s that we have laying...
My son says that he would really like to have the 2 terabyte drive... But I also feel like if I pair that with the machine that I'm selling I'm likely to get better profit
Ok... so I have a few m.2 and a few machines. Trying to figure out WHERE I should put them
-Inland 2TB 3d NAND m.2 2280 PCIe NVMe 3.0x4
-ADATA XPG Gammix s70 Blade 1TB 4.0x4
-Silicon Power UD90 1tb gen 4.0x4
The first machine is:
Ryzen 5 7600x3d
Asus ROG Strix b650-a gaming WiFi
32GB DDR5...
I am looking for power supply recommendations please
I would like to keep the budget around $55-85 BUT could spend more if it is needed
Specs are as follows
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 7600x3d
MOBO: Asus ROG Strix B650-A Gaming Wifi
RAM: DDR5 6000 Patriot Viper Venom 2x16GB CL30
GPU: PowerColor...
I suppose another quest would be, is it worth it to upgrade from the r5 7600x to the r5 9600x for $40-50
Know that there's a massive difference in energy consumption and heat generation between the two generations but not a whole lot in actual performance less than 5% if I recall
Would it be...
good point. can you suggest something similar, but smaller, ideally with included ARGB fans(or an affforable option for ARGB controller and fans to add???)
thanks
